An engaging and dynamic teacher and public speaker, Anathea Portier-Young has taught, lectured, led workshops, delivered keynotes, and preached in diverse settings, including churches, universities, denominational assemblies, conferences, and more. Her areas of expertise include Old Testament, Hebrew Bible, and the history and literature of early Judaism, with special attention to prophetic and apocalyptic literature. She also lectures on the intersections of scripture and social justice and on biblical models and resources for Christian preaching.
